“I’m really happy to be joining as a Peer Trainer and am super excited to be working with such an amazing team. As a student, joining the Recovery In Mind ‘Tribe’ has and continues to be a huge and irreplaceable part of my own recovery. To have the opportunity to be part of other peoples journey is a privilege to which I’m looking forward.”
Recovery in Mind attended the Greenfest community event on Saturday 10th September in the village of Hampstead Norreys. The event was focused on the environment and wellbeing. Both Lynette and Nick joined Cath, Fiona and myself. We ran some Breathing Workshops in our aptly called, ‘Zen Den’, encouraged children to plant some microgreens to take home and chat to people about our courses and the support we offer. It was a delight to meet so many people from West Berkshire and beyond. We already have a few people we met on the day attending courses. Welcome to you and thanks to the team for all their hard work on what turned out to be a long day.
Come along and enjoy a day learning about how to be more sustainable, a free interactive fun day for all ages!
We’ll be there talking about our free courses and how ‘being in nature’ is crucial for maintaining and improving mental health and wellbeing.

The strawberries are delicious and our first courgette and cucumbers are growing well and our spectacular flowers attract the bees.
After 3 years our very popular workshop is back, led by photography and media guru, Alex. Putting #recovery back in full focus!
‘The ladies at Recovery in Mind are a friendly bunch and I love coming to Educafe’s community events.’
