Description
At Recovery in Mind we often refer to our mental health ‘shed’. As many of you will remember it is about a time when I (Angela) felt that I would recover from my mental health challenges by having my GP, psychiatrist and Mental Health Nurse living in a Shed at the bottom of my garden ready to sort me out and offer support at a moment’s notice – they would run up the garden and be at my side in an instant! So without a shed full of professionals what do we need to put in our ‘Shed’ to aid our recovery and to support ourselves to live a more meaningful and better life? During this 2 hour workshop we will complete a hand drawn (provided) picture of a shed and complete it according to what we already have in it and consider what other tools, skills and mindsets we might need to adopt to help us move forward further with our own recovery. A creative and different way of reviewing our progress.
Date: Thursday 22nd June
