Description
This course is based upon the themes of the Five Ways to Wellbeing that has been developed by the New Economics Foundation. We have found this concept useful for anyone regardless if they are recovering from Mental Health difficulties or not. Some weeks will be based at Broadway House in Newbury but other weeks we hope to visit the Watermill Theatre, Snelsmore Common and Northcroft Leisure Centre, you will need to be able to get yourself to the different venues independently.
It is open to anyone who has completed the Welcome to Recovery course.
Course duration: Held over five weekly sessions on Thursday mornings. Each session lasting two and a half hours. Please note that the ‘Be Active’ week will be held on Tuesday 17th October 12:30 – 2pm at Northcroft so we can participate in a badminton session, instead of the Thursday that week.
Timing: 10.00 am until 12.30pm
