Description
Come and join us at the beautiful Thatcham Lakes for something a bit different. Led by Amy, who works as a Project Support Officer for Nature for Health, who will be sharing her passion for nature and to tell us about her work locally and how students could get involved in her project. Amy herself is inspiring, fun and a positive force in many ways! Making the actual birdboxes won’t be as difficult or challenging as it might first seem as it will be putting it together from pieces that are pre-cut and everything we need will be provided. We will be in the ‘Hutch’, an outdoor covered area (next to the Discovery centre with loos and facilities) and once your birdbox is finished and we’ve heard from Amy there might be time to go for a walk around the lake or enjoy a cuppa from the café.
A perfect afternoon for anyone who’d like to get creative, hear about a local nature project, stretch your legs or simply enjoy an afternoon trying something new!
