This years theme for Mental Health Awareness Week was ‘movement’. It really encouraged me to get outside and get moving. I walked at Greenham Common and saw (and heard) the bull frogs, cycled past amazing rainbows near my home, swam in the Newbury Lido with some of our Recovery in Mind students and went for an evening ‘Take Notice Walk’. Cath and I also joined the Sport in Mind Monday walk along the canal which was fun too. I told myself ‘just get moving more’ and I felt so much better for making the effort.
