Autumn Take Notice Walk
Enjoy a slow leisurely walk-through nature, stopping regularly to be in the moment and take notice. Please wear suitable footwear and dress for the weather of the day as the walk will take place whatever the weather. At the end of the session we will reflect on the experience.

Indoor Climbing Experience
Northway Climbing Centre in Newbury in partnership with 'Climb Alongside Mental health' (CAM) charity are excited to offer the opportunity to come along and try bouldering. We have the opportunity to take 6 students to the centre and following a 30 minute safety induction you will then be able to challenge yourself and give it a go! Bouldering is the act of low climbing, without the use of ropes and harnesses. It can be done on your own as you do not need the assistance of another climber. Bouldering allows you the freedom to try different routes without needing to be tied in with a harness each time.
What to wear? Shoe hire is included with this experience. Hoodies are allowed but please try to avoid baggy clothes if possible due to the snagging risk. In the winter it can get cold at the centre: please wrap up warm with more layers/baselayers if you have them.

The Ugly Duckling Pottery
Come along and paint a piece of pottery at the Ugly Duckling Pottery Workshop with the Recovery in Mind team. This event is kindly subsidised by The Ugly Duckling Pottery, students will be expected to pay towards their item. Depending on the number of students we expect the subsidy to be between £5 - £8, the balance for the item chosen will need to be paid on the day by the student. This is an ideal opportunity to make a Christmas decoration or gift. All equipment will be provided but you will need to be prepared to pay for your own refreshments.

Festive Wreath Workshop
Come and join the Recovery in Mind team and make a festive wreath. Following a demonstration, we will provide all that you will need to make your own wreath, followed by a hot drink and a mince pie.
The barn is unheated so please wear warm layers.
