FAQ

WHICH COURSES SHOULD I DO?

Experience tells us that our students benefit from watching the bitesize Introduction to Recovery first, followed by Welcome to Recovery (five, two and a half hour sessions) and this is what we recommend to new students.  After that, we leave the choice of courses up to you.

You set the pace and you decide the path of your recovery journey.  The Recovery College courses are  here to support you and offer new ways of moving towards your own goals and aspirations.  We envisage that after about 18 months most students will feel that they have gained maximum benefit from Recovery in Mind and feel confident in using their new found skills and resources.

IS THERE A COST?

At present the courses are free to anyone who is living in West Berkshire* with a mental health challenge and their carers.  We also welcome healtcare professionals to join us on the courses.
